Adopted Greyhound Does Guide Dog Impersonation
Let me tell you about a morning. A morning that looks just like any other morning. The sun rises, the alarm goes off, I stumble through motions that are routine after decades of practice.
Feeding our adopted greyhounds should be counted in that routine - for me as well as our pack of greys.
On this particular morning however, my precious pack of sight hounds did their best to give me the opportunity to prove I was awake and coherent. When I wandered into the office rather than the family

One Adopted Greyhound At A Time
It's been over twenty years since I met my first greyhounds up close in the back of my vet's office as they waited for or recovered from spay and neuter procedures. So stoic - and quiet - they sat in the kennels, seemingly oblivious to the chaotic barking and crying from the other dogs and cats.
I love big dogs, married a man who felt the same, and an adopted greyhound became our wedding present to each other. Bubbles was the best, a lovely ambassador of the breed, and a perfect 'first

A Cat As A Focus Element of Paranormal Romance Novels?
It's time for me to admit a truth: Writing paranormal romance novels with Maverick, our big (bordering on ginormous) black cat is one way to keep me in the chair with my hands on the keyboard. ;)
There are two chairs at my grandmother's desk now. One for me and one for him. Both are padded (though recently I think the whole room should be, but that's another post)
No, he's not the least bit spoiled, why would you ask?

World Building For A Paranormal Romance Novel Blog Tour
If writing the book were all that mattered, most paranormal romance authors would find sheer joy in the process. Or at least a small measure of peace. One can hope anyway...
But writing as a career, to make a living, means letting people know a paranormal romance novel, or any other book, is available and worth the reader's investment of time and money.
I'm often the person, either in an online class, interview, or writer's conference reminding others that we all have unique talents and

Adopted Greyhounds And Summertime
June! And it's already hot here in the South Carolina Lowcountry. This distresses our youngest greyhound, Bandit because he doesn't get as much time outside, playing fetch and racing around the yard.
He's about two and a half now, so it's a bit easier this summer to manage him and convince him to take a break when he needs it. Boo and Brody, the more experienced of our adopted greyhound pack will romp in the early morning, or near dusk, but otherwise they know summertime is the season to

Time Management As An Element of Paranormal Romance Novels
Time management is often a critical element in a storyline, primarily in thrillers or romantic suspense. But time management is an important element of paranormal romance novels too.
Particularly for the paranormal romance author.
Sure, paranormal romance authors think outside the box, but we shouldn't languish there, forever dreaming and never writing or editing. Paranormal romance novels are a hot commodity in the retail world, with legions of diehard fans who want a little extra in
